Thank you Letter 2

Hi Fasil,

Thank you very much for your time today to interview me for the postdoctoral fellowship in genetic epidemiology of early growth and cardiometabolic diseases at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Development and Human Health, National Institutes of Health (NIH). I appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the postdoc position, research team, available big registry data and collaboration across different departments. After our discussion, I am confident that my research skills and experiences are a great match for this postdoc fellowship in Genetic Epidemiology, which is my dream field in one of the prestigious world class research institute, NIH.

As we discussed, I find analysing multi-omics (genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics) and environmental exposures registry data using different statistical approach is fascinating and an amazing opportunity for the future to convey insights into early growth variations and molecular pathways that drive the relationship between early growth and later life cardiometabolic outcomes/health disparities in diverse ancestral populations. In addition to developing my carrier, designing and implementing studies, data analysis, and manuscript writeup will be a top priority during my stay at NIH.

I am very happy to know you and enjoyed discussing interesting scientific and practical points including working in a team as well as independently.

I am very enthusiastic about this opportunity to join your Genetic Epidemiology Research Lab.

I all send you all the relevant documents as soon as possible.

Once again, thank you very much for your time and giving me the opportunity.

Best regards,
Tesfa
